Our commitment

Data protection is a core priority for ABAX. ABAX Field Operations is designed around the principles of privacy by design and by default, so your data is protected without any action required from you. We process personal data lawfully, fairly and transparently, and only as far as necessary to provide the service.

Lawful basis

We process personal data on the lawful bases set out in Article 6 of the GDPR — principally to perform our contract with your organisation, to comply with legal obligations, and for our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to be informed, the right of access, and the rights to rectification, erasure (the "right to be forgotten"), restriction of processing, data portability, and objection, as well as rights relating to automated decision-making. You can exercise these rights at any time.

Exercising your rights

To access, correct, export or delete your personal data, contact your organisation's administrator or email our support team. We respond to requests without undue delay and within 30 days. There is normally no charge for exercising your rights.

Data location and security

ABAX Field Operations data is hosted within the EU/EEA and protected by encryption, access controls and continuous monitoring throughout its lifecycle. We work only with subprocessors that provide equivalent guarantees under the GDPR.

Complaints

If you believe we have not handled your personal data correctly, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority — in Norway, Datatilsynet.
